P: Cannot upload reference image [merged thread]

I’m currently unable to upload photos to Firefly for editing, despite the service working for only about a week and a half. Considering the cost, this disruption is unacceptable. Please address this issue promptly or provide a full refund.

I encountered a different problem with Firefox a few weeks ago,
and now I realize there might be a connection, as the problem, like the current one, doesn't occur in the Brave browser.
The question is whether any Firefox add-ons might be causing these issues. For some time now, I haven't been able to see my credits, and support was unable to help.
Now I see my account details displayed in the newly installed Brave browser.
Perhaps we should all remove add-ons from Firefox or reinstall it?
Regards

Hello @John connor,

Yes, there is an ongoing problem with uploading images to Firefly. Adobe is working on the problem.

Same thing happening here. On a PC > Open Firefox > go to Firefly > Try to upload a reference image from your computer > Nothing happens. No error. No loading. Nothing. Nothing at all.

I was having the same problem in Firefox. I would try to upload an image so I could edit it with a prompt, but nothing would happen; the image would not appear. I just logged into my Adobe account using Chrome, and the process worked great. The image from my computer that I wanted to edit showed up, and I was able to enter the prompt and edit it. Wish it worked in Firefox too, but at least I have a workaround.

This problem is being investigated by Adobe.

Some people have reported that it might be an extension blocking traffic to Adobe, such as an ad blocker. They were able to upload images when using private mode/incognito, using another browser, or turning off ad blockers on Adobe pages.

You can try turning off ad blockers on Adobe Firefly. For example, if you use uBlock Origin, try turning it off on Firefly. Click the uBlock Origin icon in your menubar and turn it off:

Or if you are using Ad Blocker:

Thanks to @OdiugOdiug for reports on ad blockers.

My best,

Now i tested Brave Browser instead of Firefox and now it works as usually! 🙂

So the Problem might be Firefox!

For everyone who reported this problem, do you still have the problem when using the Chrome browser?

Thanks,

I've discovered something interesting.
Firefly images generated and downloaded to the computer can be used as references,
but your own photos cannot. Apparently, Adobe is now looking at the EXIF data and only allows AI references?
That would be really bad!
